Manijeh Razeghi, Walter P. Murphy Professor was an Invited Speaker and Session Chair (“Optoelectronic Devices”) at the Workshop on Compound Semiconductor Devices and Integrated Circuits (WOCSDICE/EXMATEC 2014), held on Monday, June 16, 2014 in Delphi, Greece.
Prof. Razeghi presented her paper, titled, “III-Nitride based Semiconductor for Optoelectronic Devices From Deep UV (200nm) to THz (300 microns)”, in the “Optoelectronic, THz Low Band Gap-Semiconductor Devices” session.
WOCSDICE is an annual meeting with a long standing tradition as it was established in1973. The workshop brings together internationally recognised researchers and promising young scientists and engineers to disseminate state-of-the-art research findings in the areas of compound semiconductor materials, associated devices and integrated circuits. Last WOCSDICE workshops were organized in Leuwen (2008), Malaga (2009), Darmstadt (2010), Catania (2011) and Porquerolles (2012).
The topics that were addressed included:
- THZ DEVICES
- NOVEL MATERIALS AND PROCESSING
- DRIFT AND RELIABILITY MECHANISMS
- NEW DEVICE CONCEPTS GRAPHENE AND CARBON NANOTUBE DEVICES
- WIDE BANDGAP POWER ELECTRONICS
- SIMULATION AND MODELING
- MICROWAVE AND MILLIMETER WAVE DEVICES
