Nikos Hardavellas, June and Donald Brewer Assistant Professor
, participated in the NSF Workshop on Sustainable Energy-Efficient Data Management, held in Arlington, VA. The aim of this by-invitation-only workshop
was to act as a planning meeting for the development and deployment of energy-efficient data management methods and data-intensive applications, and to provide recommendations to NSF on the funding of emerging strategic research areas. Prof. Hardavellas is Director of PARAG@N (Parallel Architecture Group) in the EECS Department.
